Our Mission is to unite local churches and the community in honoring our diverse history while fostering a space of worship and togetherness. We strive to create a diverse and welcoming environment where individuals from all cultures and walks of life can come together to celebrate, embrace, and learn from each other's unique perspectives, fostering unity and understanding within our community.

Our Team

Our Story

The History and Diversity Organization of Terre Haute is a collective of several churches around the city. Ruth Clark, our founder, brought together a small group of individuals to create a space to plan and promote Black History in Terre Haute. While our goal is to have events during Black History Month, we will also host events and produce newsletters throughout the year. Our hope is to benefit the community as a whole, from the eldest member in our city to the youngest.
